Can you let me know more about Invitation Design Studio
and its owner?
Located in Florida, Invitation Design Studio Inc. is owned
by Alexsandra M. Jones. Her experience in the paper industry
began in 2000, working for a designer stationery boutique in
Miami, Florida where she gained precious experience. Alexsandra’s love for the industry was evident, and she
developed her most beloved talent of directing party-givers,
brides-to-be, event planners, and business people in
invitations, wording and style needed to set the desired
tone for their unique special occasions. Each personalized
piece would distinctively represent the client’s personal
taste combined with Alexsandra’s expert advice, and her eye
for detail and perfection.
How to place an order online
You can place your order online through our site, as it is
the most efficient method to process your order. However,
currently only several lines allow ordering online. Please
view our ‘Product’ page and click on the product line. All
ordering of other lines require that you

Invitation Design Studio Inc. directly to place an order. You
will receive an e-mail confirmation that your order was
received. If for some reason you DO NOT receive
an e-mail confirmation, we may not have received your order.
Please contact us via phone so we may assist you. It is
important to always give us an accurate e-mail address that
you use often as well as a valid phone number so we may contact you
if any problems arise with your order.

Placing a phone order
Our phone hours are Monday-Saturday, 9:00 A.M. 6:00 P.M.
Eastern Standard time and our phone number is 1-800
416-7968. We do encourage customers to place their order
online or via our fax order form which can be downloaded or
sent to you via E-mail. Please download this form and fax it to (888)482-6717.
Placing a fax / mail order
You can fax in an order to us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
and all faxes are kept in a confidential and secure area to
protect your credit card and personal information. Our fax
number is 888-482-6717. You can download a fax order form. You can
e-mail us and we can e-mail, fax, or mail a form to you.
Mail Orders
You can also place orders via mail. You will need to download or
receive a fax order form via fax so you can mail in your
order. We accept checks and money orders, but do need to
receive your payment before we can process your order. If
you have additional questions regarding sending your order
to us through the mail, please E-mail us.
I would prefer not to order online. May I place my order
over the phone?
Yes, of course. We would love to hear from you! We strive to
be available for every call, but as we do meet with clients
in our studio and have appointments outside of the studio,
please leave a message if we are unavailable. We very much
want to work with you and will return your call as soon as

I found my invitation/announcement, but I don’t know what to
say.
We love nothing more than a client who would like a bit of
our guidance or expertise. That is, after all, one of our
favorite aspects of this business! If you need some advice
regarding etiquette or assistance with wording, please email
or call our stationery and etiquette expert Alexsandra
Jones. She is also happy to help with selecting just the
right invitation, typestyle, ink color, etc.
Do you offer suggested greetings for holiday cards?
Holiday cards are printed with your custom personalization,
whether you choose one of our suggested greetings or write
your own.
How many extra invitations or announcements should I order?
This is entirely up to you, but it is a common mistake for
clients to run short due to an address list that
unexpectedly grew! It will be far less expensive to bump up
your quantity during your initial order than to place a
separate order for the lowest quantity offered.
May I begin my order for birth announcements before my baby
is born?
Yes, please do! We’d love to hold onto your order and await
the arrival of your baby. If you choose to do so, please
submit your order putting “XX” in place of any unknown text.
Add any special notes onto the order form. To avoid
confusion, do not put any information in the announcement
text that is not definite. For instance, please put “XX
pounds, XX ounces” rather than guessing “7 pounds, 5
ounces”.
I have selected a card that includes printing of my photo.
How do I submit it to you?
Photo requirements vary by manufacturer . If
submitting a digital file, please send it to
ajones@invitedesignstudio.com
according to the certain specifications. Remember that the
quality of the finished product will greatly depend on the
quality of your photograph. If necessary, your photo will be
cropped for best appearance. Acceptable digital file formats
are JPEG and TIFF. For digital files the minimum resolution
is 150 dpi. Photos taken with digital cameras, when set on
the highest quality setting, will usually suffice. All
Imagination orders require a fax proof of $12.
Imagination orders will require two additional days of
in-house processing. The quality of the final product will
depend on the quality of the photo or digital image. Inkjet
photos are not acceptable. Images may be cropped in order to
make them fit properly. Please do not cut the photo down to
size before sending it via email. We need to allow for
flexibility in placing the photo into the Imagination
frame.
Product samples
Some products are available as samples for $5 or less
depending on the sample line requested. Samples are sent via
mail. If you are unsure whether the product you are
interested in is available as a sample, please E-mail us and
indicate your specific style number and address information.
We may be able to supply you with that particular sample
indicated.
Sales tax or other
charges
Currently we are required by the states of Florida to charge
sales tax if billing address resides in Florida and the
shipping address resides in Florida. More and more states
are requiring collection of sales tax for internet
transactions and we may have to charge sales tax for other
states soon. There are no other handling or hidden fees for
any order or product, other than what is clearly shown on
the site for the price of the product and the applicable
shipping charge.
Forms of payment
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER, PERSONAL CHECK, BUSINESS CHECK
AND MONEY ORDERS. Payment must be made prior to shipment of
your product. Exceptions for billing can possibly be made
for large corporate accounts with a guarantee of payment
letter submitted with the order.
Pre-ordering envelopes
Often with Birth/Adoption Announcement orders, customers
prefer to have their envelopes sent prior to the
birth/adoption of their child so they can be addressed
early. This is a great idea! Most of the birth/adoption
announcements have a “pre-order” option shown during the
order process. If you do not see this option with the
product you would like to order E-mail us and we can further
assist you.
For envelope pre-orders we send the envelopes out to you
early and the only charge incurred at the time of envelope
shipment is a charge for return address imprinting, if that
option is chosen. We will then set aside your
announcement/adoption cards and when you are ready to
complete your order, you can provide the information to us
via one of the following methods and we will then charge for
the balance of your order. It is possible to place a
pre-order for other categories on our site also.
